Vail Village is a pedestrian village, and its luxury shopping is an easy walk. It runs from the Four Seasons on Vail Road and the Solaris building on East Meadow Drive to Bridge Street, Gore Creek Drive and Wall Street. The luxury shops here lean toward jewelry, fine watches, cashmere and ski wear rather than a street of fashion houses, and several shops are run by their owners or designers. This guide walks it block by block. Every shop is in our Vail Village listings.

When to Go

Vail Mountain is scheduled to open Nov. 13, 2026, conditions permitting. Late October and early November are quiet, and some shops shorten their hours, so check before you walk over. Loro Piana posts daily hours of 11am to 6pm, and the Four Seasons boutique 10am to 6pm. If you drive in, park in the Vail Village Parking Garage. Discover Vail's Vail Village Welcome Center sits at the top of it, and the staff there give local shopping tips.

Vail Road: The Four Seasons

The Vail Outpost (Four Seasons Resort Vail) (1 Vail Rd) sits in the hotel's retail lobby corridor and sells cashmere, designer outerwear and accessories from heritage brands, with the selection changed each season. It is open daily from 10am to 6pm. Book a private styling or personal shopping appointment ahead and the team will put together a selection for you.

In the same building, Piranesi (1 Vail Rd) is the Italian jewelry house's boutique. A November 2025 Vail magazine article says it opened that July, next to reception, and holds invitation-only shopping evenings. For dinner without leaving the building, Tavernetta Vail is the hotel's restaurant. Our hotels guide covers the Four Seasons and the other hotels near the shops.

East Meadow Drive and Solaris

Watches and Fine Jewelry at Betteridge

Betteridge (141 E Meadow Dr) in the Solaris building is a watch stop. Rolex lists it as an Official Rolex Retailer. The store also carries Cartier, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, OMEGA, Panerai, Blancpain, TUDOR and Bell & Ross, plus Certified Pre-Owned watches. Jewelry includes Pomellato, Marco Bicego, Roberto Coin, Paul Morelli and Davidor. It does bespoke design, jewelry and watch repair, and engraving, and for gifts it stocks Deakin & Francis and estate silver. The Rolex page lists Monday to Saturday 11am to 7pm and Sunday noon to 6pm.

Solaris Plaza

At 1 Willow Bridge Road in Solaris Plaza, Overland (1 Willow Bridge Rd, Ste CS3) sells sheepskin and leather coats, boots and sheepskin rugs. LaNae Fine Jewelry (1 Willow Bridge Rd) is a fine jewelry shop that Discover Vail lists among women-owned and women-led businesses. Lamina Jewelry & Gallery (1 Willow Bridge Rd) specializes in one-of-a-kind pieces with stones of all colors, fossils, crystals and minerals. Matsuhisa Vail is in the Solaris building too.

Karats

Also on East Meadow Drive, Karats Vail (122 E Meadow Dr) has been a Vail jewelry store since the 1970s. It is jeweler Dan Telleen's workshop and showroom, and Discover Vail likens it to an artist's studio. Look for one-of-a-kind necklaces, bracelets and rings, and ask about trunk shows.

Bridge Street

Loro Piana (288 Bridge St) is the Italian luxury house's Vail boutique. It is open daily from 11am to 6pm, and you can book an appointment through the brand's store page, which is worth doing in holiday weeks. The Western shop Kemo Sabe is also in Vail Village, where Discover Vail says custom cowboy hats are shaped on site, alongside hand-tooled belts and boots.

Pepi Sports (231 E Gore Creek Dr) is the Gramshammer family's store, open since 1968. Its three floors hold a full-service ski shop, men's and women's sportswear and a second-floor ladies' boutique of one-of-a-kind jewelry and clothing. In ski season it is open daily 8am to 8pm. Pepi's Restaurant & Bar is in the same building.

Gore Creek Drive

Gorsuch

Gorsuch (Vail Village flagship) (263 Gore Creek Dr) is the family business's Vail flagship. Gorsuch opened its first store in Gunnison in 1962, and the flagship sells premium ski wear, après-ski fashion, European home goods and accessories. Its ski café and rental shop at 254 Bridge St pours Illy coffee and serves Bavarian pretzels and Mexican hot chocolate; for the gear side, see our Vail ski shops guide.

The Jewelers' Block

Gore Creek Drive holds a run of jewelers within a few doors of each other. Squash Blossom Fine Jewelry (198 Gore Creek Dr) carries contemporary designer jewelry and vintage pieces, including turquoise Squash Blossom styles. Owners Hilary Magner and her husband Kevin, a gemologist, host parties and styling sessions and offer jewelry cleaning. DAVIDOR (184 Gore Creek Dr) is designer David Gusky's shop. It is open to walk-ins and by appointment, and private sessions can come with Champagne and live music. Michele's Estate Jewelry and Silver (160 Gore Creek Dr) is the place for estate and antique rings, necklaces, bracelets, watches and silver. The Golden Bear (183 Gore Creek Dr, Ste 3A) opened in 1975 and is known for its bear design, which Discover Vail calls an enduring symbol of the Vail Valley.

Between the jewelers, Cos Bar (188 Gore Creek Dr) is a beauty and skincare shop, listed by Natura Bissé among its stockists. Sweet Basil, one of Vail's two MICHELIN Recommended restaurants, is at 193 Gore Creek Dr.

Wall Street

J. Cotter Gallery (234 Wall St) is called Vail's oldest contemporary fine jewelry and art gallery by Discover Vail. Jim Cotter founded it in 1970, and the gallery says "we make what we sell": one-of-a-kind gold and sterling silver jewelry, shown alongside sculpture and paintings.

One Stop in Lionshead

If you're staying at the other base, Lionshead Jewelers (555 E Lionshead Cir) is a 4,000-square-foot shop selling jewelry along with fossils, crystals, minerals and meteorites, plus art and home decor. See our Lionshead listings for the rest.

How Buying Luxury in Vail Works

Watches

A new Rolex should come from an authorized dealer, and in Vail Rolex lists Betteridge. If the model you want isn't in the case, say what you're looking for and leave your details. Betteridge's Certified Pre-Owned watches and Michele's estate pieces are the alternatives when you want something today.

Jewelry

Vail's jewelers split three ways: a brand boutique (Piranesi), multi-designer stores (Betteridge, Squash Blossom, LaNae) and makers' shops (J. Cotter, Karats, DAVIDOR). At a maker's shop you are buying from the person who designed the piece, and Betteridge lists bespoke design. Ask how long a custom order takes and whether they will ship it home.

Appointments

Loro Piana, the Four Seasons' Vail Outpost and DAVIDOR all take appointments, and Squash Blossom hosts parties and styling sessions. Book before you arrive if you're coming for Christmas or Presidents' Day week. For the gear side of the village, see our ski shops guide.
